Summer is taking TOO long- I can't believe I actually said that out loud. In an effort to make the time pass a little quicker, I have been watching a series called Ballykissangel. It's about an English priest who takes over a small Irish parish. Let's face it, it is a prettly slow moving series, but I am totally invested because the character development is so great. In fact I think it is the whole point of the series. I rented the first season from the Sandy library and was hooked, but you know how the library is-- anything good has 50 holds on it. I wasn't going to be able to get season 2 until September and by September I won't be watching anything but the pages turn in my text books. So I splurged a little and bought the whole series on Amazon. I was really bummed to find out that the whole original cast shifts after the third season, but the last three seasons feature a very young, very handsome Colin Farrel- hopefully he will be good.
